Chopin award

The Chopin award is an individual reward for physically and social active CF patients, and for those people providing them with necessary support for living life to its fullest.

The recent genetic and historical research has proven that Frederic Chopin suffered from cystic fibrosis. He continued to write and play the piano in spite of this, and is now feted as one of history's greatest classical composers.

The Chopin award was created by Ostrova Foundation to motivate young people with cystic fibrosis to lead active creative, professional and public lives.
