The program «Initiative» includes organizational and financial support for regional organizations promoting cooperation between patients with CF, their families and experts, with the aim of tackling CF issues at a local level (CF training, campaigns, events, etc.) The program is implemented in the form of competition and open to all organizations and initiative groups dealing with CF.
Competition Objectives: to bring together interested parties to find solutions to CF problems in the Russian regions; to increase public awareness of the disease and the legal safety of CF patients, and; to generally raise the profile of Cystic Fibrosis and related issues at a local level.
Competition geography and timelines: The Competition is held annually and covers the whole territory of the Russian Federation.
