A kinesitherapy facility was opened in Tumen

On 22 March, in the Tumen State Regional Clinical Hospital No. 1, a kinesitherapy facility was opened. The event was made possible thanks to the joint work of the staff of the hospital, the Tumen Regional Medical Society Association, the organization of parents of children with cystic fibrosis and the Ostrova Charitable Foundation. Yelena Ufimtseva, a kinesitherapist, will conduct sessions for the patients. She was formerly trained in kinesitherapy in St Petersburg with the assistance of the Ostrova Charitable Foundation. In total about 30 cystic fibrosis patients are registered in the Tumen region. They can now take part in regular kinesitherapy sessions and improve the quality of their respiratory systems.
