Exactly one year ago on the 8June, a lung transplant was performed to Aleksei Otradnykh at the N. V. Sklifosovsky Research Institute of Emergency Medicine. While waiting for the operation, Aleksei took part in the Transplant programme organized by the Ostrova Charitable Foundation. As a part of the programme, he received high-calorie nutrition to help him put on weight. The operation and rehabilitation were a success, and Aleksei is now doing well.
