Screening for Rare Genetic Disorders in Moscow

Blood tests for orphan diseases are being performed at Morozovskaya Children’s Hospital as clinical an inpatient services.

The tests, provided by the Moscow Department of Health, help detect more than 35 kinds of rare genetic disorders. Special screenings should significantly improve diagnoses and prevent these diseases from developing.

Selective screenings are not only important for children, but genetics can also help parents wanting to start a family.

Multiphasic health testing and selective screenings are being performed by the Regional Centre for Congenital Hereditary Diseases, Genetic Deviations, Orphan, and Other Rare Diseases at the Morozov Children’s Hospital, located at Ul. Mytnaya 24, Moscow, Russia.
