The ECFS book Healthcare Issues and Challenges in Adolescents with CF was published in 2013. With Ostrova’s support, the book was published in Russia in 2014 in an edition of more than 2,500 copies.
This book about healthcare for adolescents with CF received a large number of responses from physicians, parents, and the patients themselves. Therefore, the European Cystic Fibrosis Society decided to continue taking a comprehensive approach to the treatment of cystic fibrosis and produce a book on the treatment of adult patients.
The book titled Living Longer with CF was published in December 2015.
Ostrova is currently preparing to publish a Russian translation of the book. It will come out in the fall of 2016 and will be available in both print and electronic form.
