An educational seminar entitled “Solutions for current problems of cystic fibrosis patients in Russia” took place in Naberezhnye Chelny (Tatarstan Republic) on 17 September 2016.
The seminar was organised by non-commercial partnership Help for Cystic Fibrosis patients “Dyshi So Mnoi” (Breathe with Me), with financial support from the Ostrova Foundation, under Initiative Programme.
Attendees were addressed by Rishat Nugmanov, chief doctor of the Naberezhnye Chelny Hospital for Contagious Diseases, where cystic fibrosis patients from various cities in the Tatarstan Republic are currently being treated.
Specialists in the treatment of cystic fibrosis from St Petersburg and Samara spoke at the seminar.
The seminar was attended by about 40 participants involved in treating cystic fibrosis patients in the region on a daily basis.
