On 22 October 2016, a scientific and practical conference on Cystic Fibrosis: an interdisciplinary approach to diagnostics and therapy of complications is to be held at the Clinics of the State Budgetary Educational Institution for Higher Professional Education Samara State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation (Samara).
Experts from leading Russian cystic fibrosis treatment centers from Moscow, St Petersburg and Samara are going to participate in the conference. The conference will include a workshop on kinesitherapy for patients with cystic fibrosis and their parents, which will be moderated by Vladimir S. Matveyev, a specialist in physiotherapy and sport medicine, kinesitherapist of the St Olga City Children’s Hospital (St Petersburg), and a group meeting with medical psychologist Olga O. Poletaeva (St Petersburg).
The event is organized by Helping CF Patients Samara’s Regional Public Organization, with financial support from the Ostrova Charitable Foundation as a part of the Initiative Programme.
