In the autumn of 2016, funded by the Ostrova Charitable Foundation, Maria Vakharlovskaya, a doctor at the St Petersburg Medical-Diagnostic Centre, completed the Clinical aspects of helping children and adults suffering from Cystic Fibrosis educational course. The course was organised by the Royal Brompton Hospital (UK) and was available on-line.
This course was created for all professionals working with CF patients. In order to participate in the course, strong English language skills are required. Completion of the on-line course allows the participant to apply for a personal internship at the Cystic Fibrosis Centre of the Royal Brompton Hospital (London).
The on-line course is accredited by Royal Medical College (UK) and, on completion of the course, the participant receives a digital diploma and the result is registered in accordance with the European point system as additional professional education.
