Ostrova published a booklet titled Day-to-Day Exercise and Cystic Fibrosis. The English version of the booklet had been published by the US Cystic Fibrosis Fund.
The booklet is targeted on cystic fibrosis patients of any age; it provides clear explanation of the importance of daily exercise and all kinds of physical activities. Beautiful illustrations are used to show that sports can be practiced at any time and can bring joy.
For the reader to be able to create their own schedule of exercises and maintain their health, the booklet contains a convenient form that can be printed out and filled in daily.
The booklet was translated into Russian by ‘Future Actually’, a community of pro bono translators and interpreters. Academic editor is MD Olga I. Simonova, professor at the National Scientific and Practical Center of Children’s Health of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. The illustrator is Irina Paskolzhe.
