Doctors from regions came to St Petersburg for training

Training for regional doctors began on 3 April in the St Olga City Children’s Hospital in two programs:

Modern diagnostic and treatment methods for allelically determined disorders (cystic fibrosis) (Course by the North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov, St Petersburg). Six doctors applied for financial aid (transport and living expenses) to Ostrova Charitable Foundation, the doctors were from Stavropol, Tyumen, Nizhnevartovsk, Samara, Ryazan and Rostov-on-Don.

«Immediate problems of physical rehabilitation. Kinesiotherapy during chronic lung illnesses.» (Course by Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University). The foundation supported six doctors to allow them to participate in this course. Doctors from Volgograd, Surgut, Syktyvkar, Novosibirsk, Cheboksary and Kemerovo will be improving their skills in physiotherapy for cystic fibrosis patients.
