The 7th All-Union Conference of Cystic Fibrosis Patient Organisations Solution of Actual Problems of Patients with Cystic Fibrosis in Russia, is planned for 27-28 November 2017 in Moscow.
The conference will be part of the European Cystic Fibrosis Week.
The Ostrova Charitable Foundation is one of the organisers behind this conference.
The goal of the event is to inform patients with cystic fibrosis and their families about modern treatment methods, contribute to the solution of problems with medical care and social assistance for cystic fibrosis patients in the Russian Federation, and strengthen the role of patient organisations throughout the Russian Federation in assisting people with cystic fibrosis and their families.
The conference will include presentations by leading cystic fibrosis experts who will talk about the disease and methods of treating it and hold a roundtable on problems organising care for cystic fibrosis patients in Russia.
Along with colleagues from the Warmth of the Heart Fund (Kislorod (Oxygen) Programme) and the Pravoslaviye i Mir (Orthodoxy and Peace) Charitable Foundation, the Ostrova Charitable Foundation will talk about aid programmes and how patient organisations can get involved in them.
