From 6-11 November in Tomsk and from 4-9 December in Moscow, a professional development workshop, “Children’s Cystic Fibrosis”, will be held for doctors.
Specialists with higher medical education are invited to take part in the workshop regardless of work experience.
Such opportunities for professional development are rare and should be interesting for doctors from different disciplines.
The professional development programme is accredited by the system of continuous medical and pharmacological education for specialists in pulmonology, dietology, gastroenterology, pediatrics, and neonatalogy.
The workshop program will address the following topics: cystic fibrosis in children; genetics of cystic fibrosis, general diagnosis principles (neonatal screening, sweat tests, molecular genetic testing), organ and system damage with cystic fibrosis, treatment principles, rehabilitation and examination of individuals with cystic fibrosis, diet, enzyme therapy, inhaler therapy, antibacterial therapy.
