On 10 November, the applied research conference Current Issues in Pulmonology for Pediatric and Adult Patients with CF was held in Rostov-on-Don.
More than 60 people, including allergy specialists, pulmonologists, microbiologists, endocrinologists, pediatricians, gastroenterologists, and parents of patients with CF, took part in the conference.
The Rostov Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital has demonstrated exceptional teamwork and mutual cooperation across departments: regardless of the particular clinical situation of each CF patient, patients can achieve a comprehensive consultation on accessory symptoms.
The conference was opened by Maria Chepurnaya, the chief pediatric pulmonologist at the Ministry of Health in the Rostov region, head of the Rostov Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital Pulmonology Department, PhD, professor, and honored doctor of the Russian Federation (Rostov-on-Don). She has devoted her life to treating children with CF. Leading specialists from St Petersburg, Moscow, and Samara presented during the conference and consulted patients with CF.
