On 19 October,the inter-regional research and practical conference «Current Topics in Pulmonology in Children and Adult Patients with Cystic Fibrosis».
The event was attended by practicing pulmonologists, pediatricians, geneticists, and bacteriologists. The subject generated a lot of interest in students from the medical university pursuing cross-disciplinary professions. Over 70 doctors and 30 future professionals were present.
Presentations were given by professionals from Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Belgorod. A speech was given by Anastasiya Goryainova, a pediatrician and gastroenterologist from the pediatrics department of Russian Children’s Clinical Hospital (Moscow), who for the first time participated as a regular speaker. In her talk, she detailed the features of treating patients with Pseudo Bartter syndrome and shared her experience in giving medical assessments and the specifics of treating patients with cystic fibrosis.
