A long-term partnership means guaranteed support, and for some of our patients, it’s a chance to extend their life. This is why employees at the Foundation would like to express their sincerest thanks to BBR Bank, that took part in a charity program to help cystic fibrosis patients awaiting lung translplants. With no prospect for commercial gain or guaranteed results, the bank helps acquire medical food and the equipment needed for its administration, which is valuable support for patients preparing for a lung transplant. Young individuals are reassured that for at least a year they will have the nutrition they need, regardless of any changes in price, exchange rate, or political conflict. This gives them hope to gain weight, stabilize their condition, and have a chance to extend their life with new lungs.
