On 8 February in Cheboksary, Chuvash Republic, the Cystic Fibrosis Today: from Child to Adult research and training conference was held in the State Financed Republic-Wide Clinical Hospital.
The event was attended by approximately 70 participants: doctors, parents, and students.
The second part of the conference was presented as a round-table discussion. The scheduled hour and a half quickly passed in lively discussion, while audience members had a lot of questions to ask. Individual cases of patients with the E92K mutation, the most common in the Chuvash Republic, as well as issues pertaining to diagnosis, treatment, and predictions were discussed.
