Cystic Fibrosis Conference in Vologda

The research and training conference Actual Issues in Treating Patients with Cystic Fibrosis was held on 15 February in Vologda, with participation by the leading Russian specialists in the area.

During the event, contemporary aspects and questions of applied microbiology, caring for adult patients with cystic fibrosis, preventing complications in the disease, and psychological aspects of treatment were addressed.

As part of the conference, a workshop on everyday the treatment of cystic fibrosis was held for parents.

The event was attended by doctors and parents of patients; roughly 40 individuals.
