March 22-23, 2019: An interregional academic and practical conference
«Cystic fibrosis (clinical picture, diagnosis, treatment, medical examination)» was held in Orenburg, supported by charity foundation «Ostrova». On the first day, the event was attended by physicians from different subregions: pulmonologists, therapists, psychologists, pediatricians, as well as students of the Orenburg State Medical University. In total, 106 professionals were in attendance.
The second day of the event was organized as meeting between doctors and parents of children with cystic fibrosis.
In parallel, reviews and consultations for patients whose treatment raised a number of questions were performed to make adjustments and introduce additional examinations.
We are immensely thankful to charity foundation «Ostrova» for their support during the arrangement of the conference. We believe that such meetings provide invaluable help to both patients and medics, allowing to share best practices, inspiring confidence in the future, and helping parents and children in their daily struggle for life.
