Results of scientific projects and publications contest

The results of 2019’s scientific projects and publications contest on the diagnosis and treatment of cystic fibrosis, which is held annually within our academic initiative, were announced. 

The winners were the authors of three publications:

• «Genotype-fenotype correlations of the course of cystic fibrosis in Russian Children. The first description of eleven new mutations».
• «Influence of gene polymorphism of the 1st phase of xenobiotics metabolism on antibacterial therapy efficacy in patients with cystic fibrosis homozygous for F508del mutation of CFTR gene».
• «Characteristics of mutations in patients with cystic fibrosis in the Russian Federation according to the 2017 Register and the opportunities for targeted therapy».

The competition was organized jointly with the organizing committee of the 14th National Congress «Actual problems of cystic fibrosis». On April 26, the Congress held a solemn awarding ceremony.
