April 5-6: the first all-Russian conference «Physical methods of rehabilitation in cystic fibrosis» was held in St. Petersburg.
The organizers shared their impressions: «For the first time in Russia, kinesitherapists working with cystic fibrosis patients gathered at one place.
Eight years ago, there were only a few people; now it’s about 40 people from 20 regions.
We understand that 40 people cannot entirely cover all 3,500 patients; however, they are already working, continuing to learn and share knowledge, so the community will definitely expand».
The conference was international; physiotherapists from Israel and Italy shared their experience with colleagues, answered their questions, and participated in active discussions, sometimes going beyond the timeframe.
