As part of a program for assisting St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Province, the Ostrova Foundation has purchased expensive equipment for the department of clinical microbiology and PCR diagnostics at Municipal General Hospital No. 2 in St. Petersburg.

This cabinet helps protect specialists against a biomaterial they are working with by containing and physically isolating pathogenic biological agents and microorganisms. It prevents infection by airborne droplets and keeps biomaterials from entering the air of the workplace and the environment.
8-Valve Mechanical Pipette. This device supports safe metering and speeds up operations significantly. The models of this series were specially designed to prevent repetitive motion injuries of the shoulders, arms, and wrists that occur during prolonged metering actions.
